Buchmesse 2021

If the previous edition was characterized by the "Digital Fair", 2021 was the year of the "hybrid" edition: a bit in presence and a little digital .

Many publishers, German and not, physically participated in Buchmesse 2021, as in the old days if you prefer. Many others have opted for the sole presence at the "Digital Fair". It was the edition of the restart, of Re : connec t, where the important thing was to be present, to testify that in the world of books and cartography there is still much to say and do.

Cartageo, given the limited physical presence of the usual international suppliers, has chosen once again for this year to participate only with its own virtual stand.

So, while on the one hand the objective, which is renewed annually, to follow the developments of the cartography market and to select for customers the best products offered by international publishers, on the other hand Cartageo presented its traditional and innovative products in the virtual showcase of the Buchmesse portal. With particular emphasis on the reproductions of ancient maps.

In this documentary archive the main web pages that have been published at Digital Buchmesse 2021 are presented.

The appointment is set for 2022 where we hope to be able to return personally to the Frankfurt stands.
