Universal Publishers is Australia's largest publisher of mapping and travel related products. Its publishing program includes street directories, guides, maps and road atlases.
All Universal Publishers products are produced and marketed nationally under two of Australia's most trusted and recognizable brands - Gregory's and UBD. Each of these product ranges enjoys a reputation for quality, authenticity and value for money.
To complement its local publishing programme, Universal Publishers distributes some of the world's leading travel and cartographic products from publishers such as Berlitz, GeoCenter, Insight Guides, Michelin, Philip's and Replogle.
The Gregory's brand originated in 1934 when Cecil Gregory produced the first Gregory's street directory with hand-drawn maps. We've come a long way since then and now all maps are drawn on computer.
The Gregory's range has expanded to cover maps , guide books (a growing range covering travel, fishing, 4WD, gardening and other leisure pursuits), atlases and automotive repair manuals.
Gregory's is a division of Universal Press, Australia's largest mapping company.

UBD is at the forefront of the mapping industry and is Australia's leading brand in street directories. Along with the yearly publication of six capital city street directories, UBD also publishes numerous regional and country cities and towns street directories. A variety of maps, atlases guides and DVDS complete the UBD family.
Having invested considerable time and resources into computerised mapping over the past decade, all UBD street directories are computer drawn, thus producing maps of unrivalled clarity and usability.
